Shane Johnson (Fish Go Deep)

Shane Johnson has been playing and producing records in his hometown of Cork for more than twenty years. Throughout the 1990s his DJ residency with Greg Dowling at the city’s legendary Sir Henry’s venue introduced a generation of Irish clubbers to house music and played host to some of the biggest names on the international underground circuit.

Since then the duo have travelled widely, bringing their unique sound to clubs and festivals throughout Ireland, Europe and beyond. During that time they have also hosted many of the world’s top house DJs at their regular hometown Go Deep parties. Their radio show has championed new house music for more than 15 years and the podcast has amassed more than 5 million listens.
Since the late 1990s, their production work under the Fish Go Deep name has travelled far and wide. After an early series of EPs on New Jersey’s seminal i! Records, dozens of releases have followed on labels as diverse and influential as Local Talk, Freerange, Nite Grooves, Strictly Rhythm, Innervisions and Om Records.

In 2005 their own Go Deep imprint got off to a flying start when the first single off their debut album with Tracey K, The Cure and the Cause, was licensed by UK house giant, Defected, and became a huge club and chart hit. Since then they have released three further albums and numerous EPs, and have remixed a wide variety of house luminaries – Kerri Chandler, Alton Miller, K-Alexi and Charles Webster, to name a few.

In 2017, their Baby Tell Me EP, released on Chicago’s legendary Large Music label, became one of the top ten sellers of the year on the influential Traxsource download store.
Fish Go Deep’s third album, This Bit of Earth, was released in 2021 and received praise and plays from a wide range of influential DJs: Laurent Garnier, Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, Jimpster, Franck Roger and many more.

The follow up, What I Mean By Beautiful, was released in late 2023 to widespread acclaim.

Beyond The Strutophere

Beyond The Struttopshere is a sonic collaboration between two London-based DJs channelling their musical production experience and boundless love of cosmic chugging dark disco. Their debut EP ‘New Frontier’ was released on Gouranga Music in 2020, and featured two originals with remixes from heavyweights of the scene: James Rod, Mufti and K-Effect. It found much acclaim among Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s A Love From Outer Space online fraternity, appeared on Juan Mclean’s (DFA Records) contribution to Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space mix series and propelled the duo onto newfound heights. Their second EP ‘Celestial Drift’ followed in early 2021, on Mélopée Records, and comprised two interstellar tunes with remix support from Mexican dark disco wizard Roliva. The pair subsequently featured on the French imprint’s VA compilation with their gritty ZZ Top inspired ‘Pontiac Firebird’ and later put out a remix on Ilya Santana’s cosmic disco label Astrolead Recordings. In 2022, they returned to Gouranga in full force with ‘Astral Riders’, consisting of three original bangers and hypnotic remixes from Rigopolar, Juvë, Tiempo de Maldad and the mighty Rebolledo. The EP was lauded among their peers and quickly reached No.4 in Beatport’s Indie Dance charts. Capping off the year, the boys’ latest single ‘Contralo’ dropped on Berlin-based ’In Dark We Trust’ in December. The cosmonauts have been deep in the studio since, working on new material. Strap in and prepare for lift off!

Grantly

Having started out putting on underground parties in London’s Warehouses and the countryside of the home counties in the early nineties Grantly has been DJing for over 25 years. He is one of the resident DJs at Glastonbury’s Rabbit Hole where he runs the highly acclaimed Funkingham Palace dance floor. He is also the founder of the ‘Little People’ Party collective and organiser of some truly classic underground dance parties in many corners of the globe. His DJ style is truly varied but is most at home in front of a late night or early morning deep Tech house crowd who are not afraid to experiment.

Ché Wilson

With exciting releases across various aliases and projects on labels such as Erbium Records, Studio Rockers, Heavenly Records and Polydor, blending styles such as dub, disco, broken beat, UKG, electro, and acid-house, Ché is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ from Liverpool who is no stranger to performing at respected festivals, club nights, and venues around Europe, as well as working with Red Bull as a curator. Also a well established remixer and songwriter who has worked with the likes of Happy Mondays, Confidence Man, Gabriels, Jarvis Cocker, and more, also known for being the drummer for Liverpool hip hop collective Nutribe and the bassist for Rubber Dub, as well his own projects Mr Cryptic’s Mystic Triptych and Operation Mindfunk.
